SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This position ensures efficient coordination of administration, benefits, and payroll activities. Set up administrative systems to help implement quality work. Ensure that project/department milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
1. Oversees payroll processing to ensure payrolls are paid accurately and timely.
2. Apply problem solving skills to assist in resolving payroll and benefits issues.
3. Demonstrate high individual performance and outstanding customer service.
4. Manage several independent tasks which may include internal/external audit requests, project based statistics and metrics, implement/facilitate training initiatives with limited direction.
5. Manages workflow as prescribed to maximize efficiency.
6. Maintain a strong commitment to a highly interactive team.
7. Provide coaching, influencing and/or dispute resolution strategy to team members and employees.
8. Resolve process breakdowns and/or improvements within employee services.
9. Provide a high degree of availability to employees.
10. Creates, enters, and posts payroll related journal entries.
11. Performs complex payroll and/or benefits account reconciliations and resolves outstanding issues.
12. Performs payroll analytical reviews.
13. Assist with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filings and related documentation
14. Generate and analyze various Employee Services reports.
15. Coordinates the daily work activities of the Employee Services team.
16. Performs other duties, as required.
SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. • Two years of payroll and/or benefits experience.• Ability to work as part of an HR team.• Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. • Ability to work under minimum supervision to complete assignments.• Demonstrated effective written/verbal communication and human relations skills.• Ability to deal with confidential information professionally, with integrity, and with discretion.• Ability to follow instructions, accept constructive feedback, and convert this information into a productive and positive outcome.• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• ADP GlobalView/Kronos/SAP/Workday experience,• Bilingual/Spanish verbal and written communication skills highly preferred
