The Human Resources / Payroll Coordinator is responsible for conducting payroll activities and assisting with Human Resources task and processes required to support ADTRAV associates and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain payroll processes and complete bi-weekly payroll. This includes reviewing timesheets and changes, processing payroll changes submitted for the pay period, manually adding compensation and deductions, and contacting employees and managers for any clarifications needed.
  • Maintain general understanding of payroll and HR/legal requirements in different states.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including but not limited to sourcing, screening, and filling of all ADTRAV vacancies utilizing the Company's applicant tracking system and maintaining all data and reporting for compliance purposes.
  • Support the HR Team in all activities around hiring, onboarding, offboarding and compliance. This may include inputting changes in the HRIS, coordinating orientation for new hires, assisting with separations, responding to Unemployment and other state notices, etc.
  • Enter and maintain data and documents in HRIS as requested, ensuring data integrity.
  • Support ADTRAV employees by responding to questions on HR processes in a professional and timely manner, exemplifying excellent customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with HR team to create and deliver associate communications and programs supporting associate satisfaction improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with activities related to leave of absences, including sending forms and tracking time off.
  • Complete projects as assigned by the HR Director.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience processing payroll required.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience supporting a human resources department required.
  • Experience utilizing HRIS/Payroll Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems required. Paycom experience a plus.
  • Experience in recruiting a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint).
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to re-prioritize.
  • Ability to take initiative, must have strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.Ability to research complex issues and present professional solutions.
