PURPOSE STATEMENT

As the Human Resources Representative, you will assist associates as the first point of contact for HR related issues (including health and wellness benefits, retirement, HR policies and basic payroll questions) by telephone, e-mail and in person. You will use available tools to answer questions and/or process HR/Benefit transactions while also solving problems that are sometimes unstructured and that may require reliance on conceptual thinking.

This is a hybrid role working 8:30AM - 5PM three days/week and 10:30AM - 7PM two days/week.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

Associate Relations • Provides Shared Services support to include areas such as talent acquisition, payroll, compensation, HRIS and benefits. • Answers calls, listens to requests, retrieves information, relays responses to the Associate via phone, fax, e-mail or in person using the available technology at their disposal and performs all administrative tasks associated with completion. Conducts Associate call-backs as necessary.• Maintains accurate record of transactions in Service Now database. • Executes the appropriate problem resolution • Provide quality customer service using established guidelines and tools• Produces reports as requested, provides feedback and input from calls in the form of recommendations to the knowledge base, and composes procedures and answers to FAQs

Operate and Maintain Tasks • Processes invoices and funding requests timely and accurately.• Tracks and maintains employment status changes for associates on leave of absence and provides applicable pay data to Payroll Department. • Ability to troubleshoot issues and partner with vendors until resolution.• Create and provide ongoing eligibility files using applicable HRIS, payroll or benefit systems when needed (e.g. flu shots, retiree program, etc.)

Partnership with Strategic Business Partners and COEs • Identifies, understands and escalates problems as they arise, seeking support as necessary• Ensuring regulatory compliance

Projects• Assists with special projects, such as open enrollment, new vendor implementations and annual company initiatives (e.g. reorgs, etc.)• Create/run reports as needed

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of general HR and/or benefits experience preferred • Fluency in speaking, reading and writing Spanish preferred• Ability to work independently and multi-task, as well as to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment• Knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and benefits is preferred• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel) required• Demonstrates strong proficiency in interpersonal skills and an aptitude for dealing with customer requests as assigned. Is able to communicate effectively and appropriately with team members, managers and Associate business lines in order to complete customer requests in a timely manner.• Motivation, strong communication, commitment to quality, action oriented, problem solving, timely decision making and customer service skills are required.
