  • Are someone who is eager to assist broadly across HR, payroll, benefits, compliance and culture projects with the opportunity to develop into an HR Generalist over time.
  • Are interested in supporting the full employee lifecycle and ready to continually switch gears in performing a variety of tasks, applying a mix of people and technical skills.
  • Want an exciting opportunity to own the entire new hire onboarding process including, creating offer letters, initiating background checks, conducting new hire orientation and managing onboarding surveys.
  • Are energized by interacting with people and solving problems. Interact with the talent acquisition team, managers across departments and employees to coordinate onboarding activities, facilitate performance management and support compliance requests.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team. Autonomously perform routine tasks, continually improving efficiency. Collaborate across the HR and talent acquisition teams on various support items and people initiatives. Serve as a backup for various general HR and payroll functions.
  • Are a detail-oriented individual. Enter data and ensure the accuracy of our HRIS database. Generate existing and new reports for compliance and useful people insights.
  • Are passionate about improving processes. Work collaboratively with talent acquisition and Human Resources to continually enhance the employee experience.
  • Possess general, broad knowledge of Human Resources and excel at administrative tasks (baseline knowledge of Excel and GSuite, familiarity with HRIS and ATS).
  • Have a passion for all things tech and people.

Requirements

  • 1 year of HR Coordinator or other relevant HR/Administrative experience
  • Experience with customer service
  • Knowledge of Human Resources best practices
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with and learn an HRIS and ATS software

Preferred Requirements

  • SHRM/HRCI Certification (any level)
  • Strong ability using MS Office (Excel/Word in particular)
  • Resides in the Chicagoland area
