JOB SUMMARY

Support Associates and Management in all aspects of Human Resources. Maintain the integrity of the Company's policy and procedure manual; federal, state and local laws, and all other compliance objectives in addition to upholding Company culture. Assist the department with programs, policy and procedure that support Company and Department goals and objectives. Support creative problem solving that result in a positive work environment creating high Associate morale.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Maintain Associate files

• Primary back up to HRIS Specialist

• Coordinate and manage the New Associate On-Boarding and Orientation Process

• Assist with regular HR related reporting

• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects

• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions

• Assist with audits of payroll, benefits and other HR programs

• Assist with planning and facilitating company events

• Support associates with any HR related questions including but not limited to; benefits, payroll, time off, policies and company procedures

• Fielding and responding to inquiries in the HR Inbox

• All other duties as assigned or required

EXPERIENCE SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in an HR administration or coordination role

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong project management experience

• Ability to interact comfortably with Managers and Associates

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working in an office as well as a warehouse environment with possible exposure to extreme temperatures for short periods of time. Use of computer and terminal to gather data and generate reports and memos. Regional travel up to 10%.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to stand, talk, walk and hear. The Associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to write, input data and handle materials. The Associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to focus. This position will be performed in an office, classroom environment, or in the field. The position requires travel by automobile and occasional travel by airplane. During site visits and training sessions, position may require work in a shop or warehouse environment with exposure to hazards of equipment movement and chemicals.
