Summary
About the Position: Serve as a senior Human Resources (HR) Specialist and systems analyst in the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (AECW), Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), Office of the Assistant G-1 for Civilian Personnel. Performs major projects and studies associated with enhancement and optimization of the Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (ECW) Program productivity and performance as well as the overall management and execution of the program.

- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes extract data from automated human resource systems to provide reports and updates to management; monitor human resources information systems for error conditions, updates, and downloads to ensure continued optimal functionality; provide technical support and troubleshooting to users utilizing human resource systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

- This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 3 years position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
- Permanent Army employees who accept time-limited appointments will not have placement rights to the previously held permanent position at the end of the time-limited appointment.
