The Talent Development Coordinator manages logistics to support the delivery of development opportunities for Blackstone professionals related to development initiatives across all business areas. This includes:

  • Program management for Talent Development team, including marketing programs, calendaring the workshops quarterly, prompting pre-work assignments, pro-active roster and waitlist management, evaluation process, on-day execution of programs, etc.
  • Communicating with employees at all corporate levels across Blackstone to answer training queries, distribute employee communication and pre-work materials for attendees and ensure attendance to programs
  • Liaising with external facilitators and internal events team to ensure appropriate materials, setting up prep meetings, room set up and event catering for seamless end-to-end execution
  • Analyzing attendance, waitlist and evaluation data to provide proactive recommendations of quarterly training calendar
  • Planning and coordinating annual Leadership programs
  • Liaise with HR Analytics team for reporting and development analytic needs
  • Ad hoc development requests

Qualifications

The individual we seek is highly motivated, intelligent, and has demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition to exceptionally strong organizational skills, the successful candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the financial industry
  • Strong project management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Highly organized with strong attention to details
  • Team player and willing to "roll up sleeves"
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful self-starter and solution oriented
  • Must have strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint presentation knowledge
  • Collaborative and ability to create excellent working relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work well under competing deadlines

Expected annual base salary range:

$65,000 - $75,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
