HVAC Install Technician
Job Description
Overview:
Quattro is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivatedHVAC Technician/Retrofit Estimatorwith experience inresidential systems, retrofit planning, and field estimating. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician who can assess existing systems, perform accurate takeoffs, and confidently present upgrade or replacement options to homeowners. Success in this role requires a combination of mechanical expertise, estimating accuracy, and customer-focused sales ability.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
β’ Diagnose system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions
β’ Conduct on-site walk-throughs and perform precise retrofit takeoffs
β’ Accurately estimate duct layouts, plenum sizes, and material requirements
β’ Apply proper load calculations and sizing principles during field assessments
β’ Prepare and present professional, consultative proposals to customers
β’ Clearly communicate technical information to clients and team members
β’ Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures
β’ Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and labor time
β’ Represent Quattro in the field with a commitment to quality, professionalism, and technical excellence
Qualifications:
β’ Minimum2 years of HVAC experience, with a focus on retrofit projects and/or field estimating
β’ Demonstrated ability to perform accurate takeoffs and load calculations
β’ Solid knowledge ofduct design, plenum fabrication, and airflow dynamics
β’ Strong sales aptitude with the ability to close residential retrofit opportunities
β’ Valid driverβs license with a clean driving record
β’ EPA Certification(Type II or Universal preferred)
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
β’ Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in the field
β’ Comfortable using mobile technology and software for estimates and service tracking

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
