Summary
As an HVAC Mechanic at YFP, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance in our clients' facilities. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering high-quality services and creating reliable environments for our customers.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment.
• Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues.
• Collaborate with the property maintenance team to address facility needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all operations.
• Document service calls and repairs accurately for reporting purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Familiarity with property maintenance practices is essential.
• Experience with appliance repair is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams effectively.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC operations.
• EPA 608 required.
At least 1 of the following obtained within 6 months from the date of hire: NATE Cert, HVAC Excellence Cert or UA Star HVAC Mastery Cert. Duties: Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment including compressors, air handlers, chillers, boilers, Building Automation Systems, valves, etc. in accordance with industry standards, manufacturers specifications, and OSHA safety regulations.
