Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of pipe fabrication, welding techniques, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Pipefitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all piping systems are functional, safe, and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities
• Fabricate and install HVAC piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform welding tasks as needed to ensure secure connections between pipes.
• Utilize tube bending techniques to shape pipes for installation.
• Maintain existing piping systems by conducting regular inspections and repairs.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Execute pipe threading operations to prepare pipes for fittings.
• Install Chilled water systems & condensing water systems.
• Measure and cut pipes accurately using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met.
Skills
• Proficient in pipe fabrication and installation techniques.
• Strong welding skills with experience in various welding methods.
• Knowledge of tube bending processes and equipment operation.
• Ability to maintain high standards of safety and quality on the job site.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in pipefitting.
• Experience with fire sprinkler fitting installations is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
