Job Title:HVAC Service Manager Reports to:General Manager Summary/Objective: We are seeking a skilled and talented HVAC Service Manager to lead our growing service department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, improving operational efficiency, and supporting technician development. This leadership role is vital to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Essential Functions: β€’ Supervise, schedule, and support a team of field HVAC technicians for commercial and residential. β€’ Coordinate and manage daily dispatching and work orders to ensure timely job completion. β€’ Utilize Service Titan to pull reports, technician commissions, financial performance, forecasting, presentations, and weekly accountability meetings. Β· Serve as the primary point of contact for service customers, resolving escalated issues and ensuring satisfaction. Β· Work with maintenance division to promote maintenance plans. β€’ Conduct regular ride-along with Technicians and Comfort Advisors. β€’ Monitor technician performance and productivity; provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training. β€’ Oversee repairs, diagnostics, and emergency service work across residential/light commercial and full commercial systems. β€’ Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. β€’ Support invoicing accuracy and warranty processes. β€’ Manage parts inventory and ensure vehicles are properly stocked. β€’ Collaborate with sales and installation teams on project timelines, staffing, and customer needs. β€’ Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews of service techs. Required: β€’ High school diploma or equivalent β€’ Experience managing a team of +10 technicians. β€’ At least 3 years of experience in HVAC in a supervisory or management role. β€’ Valid Texas HVAC license (TACLA preferred); EPA Universal Certification required. β€’ Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (commercial and/or residential). β€’ Familiarity with Houston area HVAC codes and climate. β€’ Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. β€’ Proficient in ServiceTitan. β€’ Customer-focused with a proactive problem-solving mindset. β€’ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. β€’ Strong mechanical aptitude β€’ Basic understanding in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) β€’ Must adhere to all company policy and procedures β€’ Bilingual (proficiency in Spanish) a plus.
