HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration in a residential setting. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will work in various environments, providing exceptional service to our clients while adhering to safety standards. Duties • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment to determine necessary repairs or replacements. • Install new HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. • Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. • Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure efficient operation of all HVAC-related tasks. • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to HVAC maintenance and repair. Qualifications • Proven experience in residential HVAC/R maintenance and repair is preferred. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. • Skills in appliance repair and plumbing are advantageous. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. • Relevant certifications in HVAC or related fields are preferred but not mandatory.
