HVAC/R Service Technician

American Cooling Solutions Inc (ACSI) is looking for a full time Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician with a strong work ethic to perform routine maintenance, repair various types of HVAC/R equipment, troubleshoot, be a positive team player and offer clients value-added services. Qualifications include, completion of HVAC/R Trade School, strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components, EPA Certification, clean motor vehicle record, availability for long hours, weekends, holidays, overtime, and physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, relevant certification, or associate degree in HVAC/R technology, proven experience, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and must be okay with commuting throughout Southern California or Northern California (depending on your assigned region). Must pass a drug test and background check and submit to random drug testing. Responsibilities: • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries • Must be okay with commuting throughout Southern CA or Northern CA (depending on your assigned region) Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Relevant certification or associate degree in HVAC/R technology • Proven experience in HVAC/R system installation, maintenance, and repair • Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems and components • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (a must) Approximate Hours per week: 30-40+ Pay Frequency: Weekly Work Remotely: no Benefits: ACSI pays partial health & full dental benefits after 90 days, sick pay, vacation pay, and holiday pay ACSI offers competitive pay & benefits Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Referral program Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday • On call • Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: • Bonus opportunities • Overtime pay Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • service technician: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • EPA (Required) Work Location: On the road
