We are looking for a talented H&W Engagement Leader - Hybrid to join our team specializing in Health And wellness for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Nashville/TN / your remote home office.

  • Plans, develops, and improves employee benefit programs to support and align with the business strategy and objectives. Manages designated plans or plan components ensuring compliance with plan design, company policies and governance and internal controls. Ensures compliance with all legislative and reporting requirements. Serves as an expert resource for human resources and management on assigned benefit programs.
  • Provides advice and guidance on designated employee benefit plans and processes to business leaders and human resources.
  • Monitors benefit program administration effectiveness; leads the design, delivery and monitoring of initiatives, processes and tools that enable the achievement of performance excellence in the design and delivery of employee benefits.
  • Ensures resolution of complex issues and inquires from employees, human resources, third party providers and other stakeholders.
  • Develops and improves tools and processes to monitor effectiveness of benefits program delivery.
  • Manages the delivery of benefit information and assistance to plan participants; ensures the accuracy and completeness of employee benefits plans, policies and process documentation.
  • Manages the implementation of plan and administration changes.
  • Partners in the creation and delivery of training and information sessions for human resources and employees; partners in the development of communication materials for benefits enrollment and changes.
  • Manages the performance of employee benefits providers; designs processes to monitor and improve performance.
  • Monitors emerging market trends and changes in the regulatory environment, and evaluates business needs of assigned programs.
  • Coaches and mentors benefits team members; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.

  • Compensation and Benefits Administration - Translates Cummins plan design, statutory and tax requirements in the communication and delivery of compensation and benefit programs.
  • Benefits Design - Designs and develops programs, policies, processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizational goals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations for Cummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design of organizational programs.
  • Data Analytics - Interprets information relying on knowledge of business or functional frameworks, and leverages analytical problem-solving tools to draw conclusions and communicate meaningful patterns that drive business insights; assesses quality of data as an initial step of the analysis.
  • Ensures accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Significant relevant experience required.
  • The Health& Wellness ("H&W") Engagement Leader is a newly created role that will partner with our H&W Strategy leaders and H&W subject matter experts to ensure that our US & Canada employees are well informed and understand our benefits offerings and processes. The leader and their team will create and deliver employee centric communications strategies that leverage a variety of mediums to ensure all employees get the information in a manner that meets their needs. The engagement team will be responsible for planning and organizing the annual open enrollment road show/educational events, including working with outside vendors to develop the informational content. The engagement team will also create and deliver engaging H&W content that is included in employee and leader trainings, mailed to employees, shared on Cummins Connect, published to the Empowering You website, etc.
  • Excellent written and visual communications are required.A basic understanding of our benefits offerings and programs is helpful.
  • Additional skills desired:

  • Writes, edits, and creates content and strategic messaging and adheres to relevant style guide.

  • This role will have off-site and on-site in person work responsibilities, requiring a hybrid work schedule with at least 2 days in the office each week.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
