Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Hybrid Cloud Network & Infrastructure Engineer o join our team in Culpepper, VA or Miami, FL. There will also be 50% travel to Colorado.

The hybrid cloud services team is building a new offering for the U.S. Intelligence Community. We assist with the entire hardware/software lifecycle, including planning, deployment, maintenance, upgrading, monitoring, and capacity planning. Our services are especially crucial for hybrid customer engagements where Google Cloud is delivering and maintaining infrastructure inside the customer's on-premises environment.

These deployments incorporate requirements such as disconnected mode, security clearance, sovereign and geographical constraints.

This is a customer facing role; you must enjoy working directly with customers.

As a hybrid cloud Network & Infra TSE, you will Implement solutions, troubleshoot technical problems for customers with a mix of debugging, networking, system administration, updating documentation, and when needed, coding/scripting. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts. This will include a rotation on weekend work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Implementing internetworking solutions to deploy Google Cloud platform that meets customers' requirement.
• Managing the customer's problem through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
• Developing an depth understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
• Working as pat of a team of engineers/consultants that globally ensure 24 hour customer support.
• This will include a need to sometimes work nonstandard work hours or shifts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, etc)
• Excellent troubleshooting, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly in a customer facing role
• Deep understanding of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and others
• Experience with tools such as packet sniffers, network probes, command line debugging, site survey tools and spectrum analyzer software
• Prior experience with implementation of large scale network within a data center is highly desirable
• Industry accredited cetification (CCIE, JNCIE, etc.) is desirable
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, NetApp and HP switches & routers is a plus.
• Experience reading or debugging code using Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, and/or JavaScript is a plus

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
• Constantly operates a computer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $127,000-$211,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
