Job Title:

Hybrid Electric Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Translating system requirements into innovative product designs
• Creating leading edge HEV propulsion system architectures, features, and functions
• Utilizing simulation, HIL, and other assets to complete system design and development
• Driving failure mode analysis and recommended improvements
• Ensuring system design meets requirements via validation testing

Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in related fields required
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing embedded controls for hybrid or EV propulsion systems
• Working knowledge of model based development in a production program environment
• DFMEA experience required
• Familiarity with high voltage power electronics preferred
• Experience using HIL/SIL/MIL environments for product development
• CAN / J1939 communication link experience preferred
• Ability to attain a CDL and perform in vehicle development activities
