Job Description
AECOM Hunt Finance is seeking to hire a Payroll Specialist with prior payroll experience in the field of construction, to support our Payroll Operations Team in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Description:
- Maintains production records, timesheets, company benefits programs and/or the payroll system, mergers and acquisitions.
- May be responsible for computing, withholding, and deductions associated with net earnings.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under direct supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS Finance/Business Admin or related curriculum or AA/AS + 2 years of office administration/accounting experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Payroll experience highly preferred.
- Payroll experience within a construction or A/E/D industry.
- Experience with union payroll.
- CMIC system experience, preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently or as a team.
- Experience working with timesheets or timekeeping.
- Data entry experience/accuracy.
- Office management or administrative abilities.
Additional Information:
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization, now or in the future.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- This position offers the flexibility of 2 days remote and 3 days in office.
