Purpose and Key Job Activities:

The Senior Director, Enterprise Marketing is a senior member of the Stericycle Marketing and Commercial Strategy department. This individual has responsibility for all Marketing activities supporting our Enterprise channel, while also leading critical business projects and implementation of strategic initiatives to meet our growth objectives, working directly with Commercial leadership. They will provide the analytical background and structured program management to support strategic initiatives that include developing go-to-market strategies and driving the associated business planning processes. This individual will work on challenging and often ambiguous projects, and must draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to be successful.

The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of go-to-market and marketing principles, including segmentation frameworks, selling motions, sales execution imperatives, and tactics to drive share acquisition. They will need to understand how to operationalize changes using technology, processes, and training to maximize sales productivity. It is a very multi-faceted role that partners closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Management, and Technology teams.

The Senior Director, Enterprise Marketing will be a self-starter with exceptional communication and organizational skills, outstanding analytic insight, and the foresight to anticipate business needs. They will drive toward simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project management skills, strong financial acumen, and be able to communicate complex strategies or analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

The Senior Director, Enterprise Marketing will lead a team of direct reports at the manager level, while also operating in an individual contributor and/or 'player coach' capacity on some projects, to achieve the team's mandate.

The Responsibilities:

• Lead customer marketing and product marketing efforts in the Enterprise channel, enabled by account-based marketing and campaigning• Enable Sales partners to win by developing and maintaining a library of sales tools, product collateral, and other assets• Drive new business growth and whitespace growth within existing accounts by overseeing Stericycle's proposal process, enabling process and content excellence in RFP responses• Partner with Sales to drive effective account planning and support strategic development of key accounts• Position Stericycle as an industry leading partner and thought leader by delivering impactful tradeshow experiences and engaging customer events with measurable ROI• Lead commercial intelligence efforts related to market sizing, segmentation, and whitespace• Leverage commercial intelligence to develop customer targeting and acquisition strategies within each of Stericycle's customer channels• Partner with Sales Operations and Revenue Management to size individual opportunities and the overall pipeline• Partner with Sales Operations related to territory planning and headcount allocation to align with commercial intelligence• Partner with Revenue Management, Sales Operations, and Information Technology to determine how to operationalize target sales motions and organization structures• Define, scope, execute, and report on large-scale strategic initiatives for the Commercial organization• Structure and package analysis, strategies, and recommendations into executive-facing narratives and communications• Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related discipline from a top-tier institution. MBA preferred• 12+ years' experience in Marketing. Some of this experience could be in Sales Operations, Sales, and/or other relevant roles, but experience must be heavily related to Marketing discipline. Experience in a B2B services environment is preferred

Licenses and Required Competencies:

• Demonstrated experience effectively leading teams to achieve shared goals• Strong knowledge and experience executing Marketing fundamentals, including account-based marketing, campaigning, proposal responses, and events planning• Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to leverage data to solve complex business decisions, including analyzing multiple data points, effectively interpreting results, and concisely presenting a recommendation• Strong verbal and written communication skills are imperative, with experience in preparing executive-level updates for senior management. Advanced Powerpoint and Excel skills required• Outstanding program management skills, with the ability to build solid cross-functional relationships, collaborate with, and influence others• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to changing priorities
