Position Summary
This role will report directly to the Senior Social Media & Community Manager. The Social Media Associate will be involved in coordinating social media content across a variety of platforms including, but not limited to, Meta (Facebook, Instagram), YouTube, TikTok, Snap, X, Reddit & LinkedIn. Through daily engagement and analysis, the Social Media Associate will help foster community spirit, offer optimizations to strategy and creative teams, and confidently collaborate with internal business partners in assessing and influencing the Samsung Mobile’s digital voice.

Job Description:

Assist in management of organic social media campaigns with the Mobile experience (MX) team. Work closely with cross-functional MX Marketing team (Product Marketing, Creative Services, Influencers and Partnerships) in coordinating organic social strategies across social media platforms to support various campaigns and always on partnerships.

General Duties:

• Overall support MX Social Media team in representing Samsung Mobile across social media
• Develop and implement organic social media strategies, aligning to key business metrics
• Organize and manage multiple sources of content, partners and creative assets into a cohesive social media execution plan
• Assist in creating engaging net-new content for social media campaigns
• Coordinate development, approvals and overall platform management for employees & executives to post content on their own social media platforms
• Coordinate posts across different divisions when scheduling conflicts arise
• Utilize analytics to track campaign performance, deriving insights to refine future strategies
• Monitor social trends and generate ideas for opportunities for Samsung Mobile engagement

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Self-starter with focused work ethic and superior organization skills
• Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
• 2+ years of business experience with in-depth knowledge of social media platforms
• An effective communicator who can think and act quickly
• A can-do attitude to jump in and find solutions, sometimes with minimal guidance
• MS Office: Internet Explorer, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
