Job Description

As an IT Business Analyst - ATM/Debit Card Operations with Frost, you will be responsible for applying technical expertise to more complex technology related assignments of considerable difficulty and importance. Responsibilities will include researching and resolving the complex processing and production problems of application systems; converting or enhancing processing systems by advising personnel on processing options; collaborating with IT programmers and operations departments, as well as other appropriate departments; checking and correcting system test runs, reports and balancing; recommending solutions to business problems by analyzing existing systems, procedures and designing technical improvements; coordinating the functional requirements with business management, and the technical solutions with systems software personnel to determine the most cost-effective solution; offering leadership and guidance to business users in defining and documenting system needs or enhancements or functional requirements and corresponding business rules prior to design, development and deployment; advising and training user personnel on system capabilities, as well as procedures, forms completion, balancing and report interpretation; maintaining effective communication between business users and Data Services staff through telephone calls, e-mails, meetings and written communications; answering telephone inquiries for information or problem solving assistance; responding to requests for special reports, visiting user department for on-site problem solving when necessary; and supporting the training of new staff in processes and procedures. The candidate will lend support to bank application users, financial centers, and technical staff, in resolving the more complex system application problems.

Required:

• 2+ years related IT industry experience
• Multi-tasking, self starter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience with gathering and documenting requirements
• Experience with developing test plans/scripts

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
• ATM or Debit Card experience
• Technical Experience in the Financial Industry
• Experience in use of automated test tools is a plus
