IA Functional Architect | About You 

As an IA Functional Architect, you are responsible for identifying, defining, designing, and planning automation initiatives that deliver impact and value to stakeholders, partners, patients, and communities. You possess a mindset and competencies inherent in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Business Architecture, Business Relationship Management, and Project Management. Your objectives will be accomplished by promoting innovation, ensuring operational efficiency, and enhancing patient care outcomes. You will be at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge technologies to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and integrate fit-for-purpose automation solutions across various facets of our clients' healthcare operations. You will not only redefine how our client delivers services internally and externally but also establish a foundation for innovative advancements in healthcare automation. 

IA Functional Architect | Day-to-Day 

• Evaluate existing systems and applications to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization. 
• Define roadmaps for the integration of automation technologies and digital solutions to drive business value, operational quality, and process efficiency. 
• Provide expertise specific to healthcare provider business operations and/or care delivery operations to identify candidate automation solutions and investigate current state vs. future state capabilities. 
• Leverage process mining tools and accelerators for a deeper dive into business processes to interrogate and analyze the systematic actions and decision paths involved end-to-end, which are not apparent or exposed through human-sourced discovery. 
• Serve as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication. 
• Develop detailed requirements, use cases, and user stories to guide the development of automation solutions. 

IA Functional Architect | Skills & Experience 

• 15+ years of experience working in business analysis, product ownership, business architecture, IT business analysis and consulting, and project management. 
• Experience in operational process improvement/CI automation initiative and business architecture. 
• Solid understanding of Healthcare Provider operations and regulatory & audit requirements. 
• Background in customer-centric communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Proven track record of working across a solution or product lifecycle solving complex problems. 
• Proficient understanding of the capabilities and features of automation tools and technologies.
