The Data Analytics Lead will help devise the strategy for and oversee the tactical delivery of the data analytics program within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our organization and spearhead our data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business insights, implement data-driven strategies, and lead a team of analysts to deliver high-impact solutions within IAM.
What you need to know:
- Lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) data analytics team in designing, developing, and maintaining analytical solutions based on best practices and methodologies while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Utilize expertise in data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, to create visually compelling and insightful reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements, significant business questions and challenges, and key metrics for IAM initiatives.
- Drive data-driven decision-making processes by extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into data warehouse solution, such as Snowflake.
- Implement and optimize data models to support IAM analytics, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, reliability, and security of data.
- Provide leadership in analyzing access patterns, user behavior, and security incidents to enhance IAM policies and controls.
- Deliver outcomes with agile processes and a CI/CD mindset, incessantly seeking opportunities to automate.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IAM, data visualization, and data warehouse technologies
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a strong background in data analytics.
- 10+ years experience as a data analytics professional.
- 7+ years in information security, information technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a lead in IAM data analytics projects.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Snowflake, with the ability to create complex reports and data models.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, security principles, and data privacy regulations.
- Competence with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
- Self-starter who is proactive, motivated, and resourceful individual who takes ownership of their work, embraces challenges, and consistently strives for excellence.
- Ability to think strategically and drive business outcomes through data insights.
For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $123,000-$163,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
