Role Snapshot

This position can be filled at the Professional level OR Senior Level IAM Security Analyst.

Our IAM Security Analyst will work independently to prioritize client access requests in ServiceNow and fulfill security administration workload responsibilities; adhere to customer service, timeliness, and security standards. Assist in maintaining critical system access safeguards to protect our nation's sensitive healthcare information, following principles of least privilege and separation of duties. You will ensure information system processes and procedures meet or exceed our contractual security compliance requirements, including but not limited to; Medicare, HIPAA and NIST Cyber Security Framework.

Minimum Qualifications

  • S. Citizenship is required for this position due to Department of Defense restrictions.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • For the Senior Level - 1 year of related work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Level - 1 or more years of working knowledge of IT systems.
    Senior Level - 3 or more years working with IAM systems.
  • Experience working with technologies such as ServiceNow, mainframe, Active Directory, O365 products, Azure, or similar technologies.
  • Possess or able to obtain relevant security certification(s) and obtain required security clearance.
  • Creating and maintaining departmental documentation, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • An understanding of concepts such as identity governance, role-based access, privileged access management, multifactor authentication, principal of least privilege, and separation of duties.
  • Senior Level Specifically:
    • Familiarity with access reviews and re-certifications.
    • Understanding of scripting/programming languages. (examples: PowerShell, SQL, Java)
    • Experience creating organizational policies and standards.
    • Experience working with internal and external auditors through audit discovery and remediation.
    • Experience with Information Security Frameworks and best practices, preferably NIST 800-53; NIST 800-171 and CSF.
    • Experience leading and or mentoring junior staff.


Hourly Rate of Pay

  • Professional Level - $ 22 - $30/hour
  • Senior Level - $ 25 - $35/hour
  • The base pay offered for this position may vary based on your experience, knowledge, skills, and may fall outside the posted range.


Work Location

This role is open to remote work for this opportunity. Ideally, we are looking for someone to be able to come into our Madison WI office on occasion and potentially provide unplanned onsite support.

Remote Worker Requirements

For remote position, employee is required to meet remote worker requirements, including a designated workstation, a wired (Ethernet) connection to the network, and a minimum of 10Mbps downstream connection with at least 1Mbps upstream (can be checked at https://speedtest.net)
