Your Role and Responsibilities
– Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and develop data solutions
– Implement data security measures including access controls and encryption
– Implement data governance practices including data quality monitoring and metadata management
– Monitor and analyze data pipelines identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks
– Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance and availability
– Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions
– Implement and automate data validation and testing processes
– Explore and evaluate new tools and technologies for data engineering and database management

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 8-10 years of development experience in SAP-ABAP
• Experience with S&D Install Base (iBase) Customer Master and Product Master related SAP objects.
• Expertise in Data Dictionary ALV reporting BDC ALE – IDOCs BAPI SAP enhancements – User exits Customer exits BADIS Enhancements – Implicit & Explicit Enhancements SAP Scripts Smart forms & Adobe forms OOABAP SQL Tracer SAP Debugger.
• Experience with translating functional requirements in design specifications for development
• Experience with migrating data to SAP.
• Individual Contributor with proven soft skills.
• Will pick up responsibility of doing development within the IBM infrastructure.
• Will work across several functional and technical teams to understand the interface
