IBM Cloud Technical Solution Architect - Manager

Introduction
At IBM Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. You’ll be responsible for overall leadership and delivery of the solutions from requirement gathering through implementation. You’ll use your in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technologies along with industry and business skills to influence outcomes.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This technical role is focused on providing subject matter expertise on key IBM Cloud focused technologies to assist in architecting first-class IBM Cloud technical solutions on complex pre & post-sale opportunities including client critical situations and onboarding acceleration.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A proven track record as a technical people manager of technical or solution architect teams including hiring and developing solution architects to become high performing teams. Example of suitable experience include cloud technical solutioning manager software development manager CSM Architect manager or similar role
• Broad technical understanding of the IBM Cloud Platform or another hyperscaler (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and some knowledge and experience of hybrid cloud design & solutioning.
• Experience in customer facing interaction with architecture and technical teams ideally in an international environment.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment with solution architects and solution developers and influence technical discussions and decisions
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent
• A background or experience in cloud archtectural design and / or cloud delivery experience.
• External relationship management experience
