Job Description
As a Field Marketing Manager or in the case of a Field Marketing Specialist you will work with the Field Marketing Manager to plan devise and execute marketing initiatives to develop new clients for major companies interested in Apptio. We are looking for a person who is willing to grow cooperate and work together with our Field Marketing Manager to develop new clients. The successful candidate will be motivated to grow and thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment be accountable to numerical targets have experience in a series of marketing activities have a proven track record as a marketer demonstrate effective time management skills and be able to collaborate with relevant internal departments and teams to execute marketing activities. – PR activities in collaboration with PR agencies and AR activities such as publishing research reports
– Devise and localize product messages as Apptio Japan based on global guidelines
– Reporting on direct mail performance against campaign and quarterly channel goals
– Assist in planning and implementing event-based lead generation programs
– Plan coordinate and execute events for the Apptio user community
– Plan coordinate and execute other event-related logistics
– Attend trade shows and events as needed
– Print and ship sales and event promotional materials
– Create customer case study content Track and manage marketing program activities budgets and invoices through Salesforce Smartsheet and MA tools

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
For Field Marketing Manager
– 3+ years of B2B project and marketing event management experience preferably in the foreign IT/software industry
– Experience with Salesforce.com ability to create custom reports or aptitude to learn new software quickly

For Field Marketing Specialist
– 1+ years of B2B project and marketing event management experience preferably in the foreign IT or software industry.
– Experience with Salesforce.com ability to create custom reports or aptitude to learn new software quickly
