Your Role and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for sales of IBM Cloud products in the Technology Business Unit.
This is a very stimulating mission that includes not only making proposals to customers but also collaborating with business partners and working with stakeholders within IBM both domestic and international. This is an ideal position for those who are looking to improve their skills through business activities.
Today many of our customers are rapidly undertaking digital transformation (DX) which is the transformation of a company by fully utilizing IT infrastructure. We believe that to meet the management challenges of our customers offensive IT transformation through new IT infrastructure and defensive IT transformation to optimize costs are necessary and cloud technology is positioned as the core of such transformation. We are looking forward to working with you to realize exciting business opportunities directly related to your business challenges through IBM Cloud proposal activities!
This position will be focused on highly regulated customer industries such as finance telecommunications and public sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the sales of IBM Cloud to several major customers and will collaborate with related teams within IBM to identify propose and close deals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of proposals to solve customer management issues rather than simply selling products.
The position will be responsible for the development and implementation of new product development and sales strategies.

You will be responsible for the sales of IBM Cloud products and services to our customers in the telecommunications industry.
You must be able to collaborate with relevant team members both domestically and internationally and enjoy doing business.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in corporate sales (5+ years) and negotiating with CEO/CIO/CTO and management in the IT industry
Ability to work closely and collaboratively with relevant internal departments and teams
Solution selling experience with a consistent track record of achieving personal goals
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in IT infrastructure sales including cloud computing hardware software etc.
Communication skills (ability to explain rationale based on logical thinking)
Experience in proposal writing and presentation skills
English communication skills (e-mail web conferencing)
Experience in sales to customers in regulated industries such as telecommunications finance government and public sector is a plus.
