Business Description.
Manage Apptioâs portfolio of existing major customers and also engage in ongoing sales activities to increase the value of Apptio solutions and create demand for additional revenue opportunities beyond the initial subscription business.
ă» Focus on relationship building across a variety of personas and functions within the client organization including IT Operations and Finance. Effectively communicate Apptioâs value proposition to both senior and operational management levels to drive utilization and adoption within the client organization.
ă»Manage multiple complex sales activities simultaneously to support multi-million dollar annual contract renewals.
ă»Accurately forecast and close new and renewal revenue opportunities for Apptio a SaaS solution that supports Technology Business Management (TBM) execution.
ă»Promote Apptioâs value proposition to senior business leaders including CIOs CFOs and senior staff. ă»Leverage Apptioâs resources to lead teams to solve problems quickly and efficiently to ensure client success.
ă»An enthusiastic commitment to embodying the significant value that customers bring to Apptio.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
â Approximately 10+ years of sales experience in charge of strategic clients or major clients
â Proven track record of consistently delivering on assigned account numbers.
â Experience selling SaaS solutions business and financial applications or BI solutions
â Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
â Proven track record of selling complex applications to CIOs CIO-1s CFOs and CFO-1s
â Experience with long sales cycles
â Familiarity with Salesforce.com
