Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for talented software engineer or senior software engineer with backend development profile to join Watson Pipelines team as part of global IBM Watson X development team. You will join the team delivering public and private cloud solutions helping our clients orchestrate their MLOps scenarios in OpenShift and Kubernetes platform using Kubeflow Pipelines on Tekton engine to manage deploy and monitor machine learning models and other assets through development-validation-production lifecycles.
Our development team is based in Krakow Software Lab and is embedded into a larger world-wide team working closely with other development labs in US Canada and India. This constellation offers the opportunity to experience globally distributed software development while being integrated into local teams.
You will be exposed to all aspects of modern software development from software design to implementation testing and deployment using agile development methodologies and you will collaborate and build solutions across world-wide teams. You will also have opportunities to contribute into various open-source projects like Tekton or Kubeflow Pipelines.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Robust experience in backend development with either Go Python Scala Java or Node.js.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools like Travis/Jenkins.
• Experience with both public and private cloud base application development
• Experience working in global Agile organizations.
• Good verbal and written English with strong collaboration analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with OpenShift Kubeflow Pipelines or Tekton.
• General Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning competence.
