Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM Software Partner Technical Specialist - Partner (Cross Software) (PTS-P) is a technical sales role of IBM Hong Kong, responsible for the promotion of Software Solution among ecosystems in Hong Kong. Candidate should be familiar with some of IBM Software solution portfolio, including Hybrid Data Management, DataOps, AI applications, Business Automation, API Gateway, Integration Solution, AIOps, Sustainability Software, Digital Trust security solution etc.

IBM Software PTS-P (Cross Software) should be out-going personality and demonstrate good experience in working with Business Partners, Distributors, ISVs and should have good communication skills to collaborate among Business Partners, IBM sales or cross teams to qualify, quantify opportunities, to deliver software solution presentation, organize enablement workshop, marketing promotion activities, opportunity follow-up and proposal for our customers.

IBM Software PTS-P (Cross Software) should have in-depth understanding of some of IBM Software solution portfolio and competitive market situation. Candidate should also have competency to deliver technical engagement activities, like Solution Enablement, Demonstration, Proof of Concept Test, Technical Workshop etc. for business partners or key customers. Candidate should have good understanding of Kubernetes Container technology or other Cloud Services Providers in the market.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor Degree holder from Computer Science / Engineering relevant discipline is expected
• At least 3 years working experience in some of Software solution portfolio, including Hybrid Data Management, DataOps, AI applications, Business Automation, API Gateway, Integration Solution, AIOps, Sustainability Software, Digital Trust security solution etc.
• Demonstrate experience in arranging technical engagement activities, like Solution enablement, demonstration, Proof of Concept Test, Technical Workshop for business partners or key customers
• Able to provide support occasionally beyond usual business hours
• Fluent in Cantonese and English. Mandarin will be an added advantage

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proficiency Across IBM's Product Suite: Experience working with any of IBM's products and services (training across IBM's comprehensive product suite will be provided).
