IBM Summer Intern Researcher: Healthcare & Life Sciences

Your Role and Responsibilities
This is for a 2024 summer internship with the following start dates: May – August or June – September for quarter system schools.
We are seeking outstanding candidates outstanding candidates with a strong background in mathematics computer science or related fields with a proven interest in developing/implementing machine learning AI technologies leveraging foundational/generative AI and/or quantum computing with the goal of accelerated drug discovery. You will work in close collaboration with other researchers and engineers and are expected to use and contribute to shared code bases.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
– Core tools for machine learning and modeling generative modeling.
-Theoretical foundations and/or deep technical knowledge of thereof.
– An undergraduate degree or equivalent.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Past experience in developing AI models for drug discovery
