Your Role and Responsibilities
Technical Sales are engineers who propose IBM technology products. This involves carefully listening to customers’ issues and requests and proposing appropriate solutions with specialized knowledge and technical skills including IBM products.
By learning about IBM’s cutting-edge technologies and implementing various proposal activities you will help our customers grow.
The position and the product areas you will be responsible for are subdivided but we will offer you a position based on your previous experience and preferences.
You will also be involved in using the products yourself conducting demonstrations and developing new product business.
Products handled include:
• Cloud
• Software
• Servers
• AI
• Security
• Storage
• Mainframes
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in corporate sales in the IT industry
• Ability to build interpersonal relationships and communicate with customers
• Strong engineering experience including project implementation experience as a technician architect technical sales and product support.
• Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Broad interest in technology including cloud computing and AI.
• Good communication skills in English (e-mail and web conferencing) is desirable.
