Job Description

The Account Manager position is similar to that in other agencies; analyze exposures, provide coverage options, service renewals, etc. If you have experience as an Account Manager you have an understanding of what the job requires.

A Day in the Life

Because Veracity is a fast past and changing environment, you'll need to be agile and take things on as they come. In addition to servicing our accounts, you may spend some time developing plans to gain efficiencies within the daily routine. You will need to be a resource to colleagues on processes, carrier appetites, classifying business, etc. You will have the opportunity to hone many skills and contribute in multiple ways. You won't be able to "flip on your robot mode" here.

What You Need to Succeed

Requirements

• 4+ Years Experience as Account Manager
• P&C Insurance Licenses
• Proficiency with an agency management system (AMS360, Applied Epic, Hawksoft)
• A broad understanding of Commercial Lines Insurance
• Consistent in follow-up with clients and co-workers

Work Schedule

You'll be expected to put in your 40 hours weekly, although flexibility may be possible regarding in and out times. Working with your manager, you'll figure out a schedule that justifies maximum team efficiency and collaboration with your personal preferences and lifestyle.

Little to no travel is expected for this position.
