Job Description

The main purpose of this job is senior technical expert responsibility for design and implementation of an assigned technology.

The Geo Fiber Solutions-Hub (GFS) designs and develops highly automated planning and documentation processes incl. the associated IT systems for an industrialized FTTH (fiber to the home) expansion in Germany.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• As a System Architect, you will develop solution concepts for the further development of virtual or physical products/services taking into account the specific business requirements.
• You advise the team and Hub management on technical issues and push clarifications with internal and external partners.
• You evaluate requirements and their integration into technology solutions, carry out requirements analyzes taking specific business requirements into account.
• You will create technical design documents and cost/benefit analyses, take over the technical control of the implementation of solution concepts and manage complex projects.

In your daily business, you work closely with the Delivery / Lead management, as well as with the Customer representatives for the digital construction support application. And of course with team of hub architects.

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• have very good experience in specifying extensive IT solutions in complex IT system landscapes,
• have very good knowledge of the principles and tools for cost/benefit analysis,
• good procedural knowledge in the area of ​​planning, construction support and documentation of FTTH networks (or willingness to learn),
• have proven experience with relevant IT systems such as PlanGoo, Digital Construction Support and MEGAPLAN (or willingness to learn),
• have proven experience in the development of IT solutions and technical guidance of software developers as lead developer.

Main Technical Skills:

• AWS, OpenShift, Docker & Kubernetes, Rest API, GeoServer
• GitLab, Python, NodeJS, Terraform, Lambda, PostgreSQL, Nginx, Cypress, Jest

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will vary and will not be lower than 2050€ /brutto.
