ID&E Data Analyst - (Role open to Location)

The Role: ID&E Data Analyst - (Role open to Location)

The ID&E Data Analyst will be responsible for understanding the ID&E strategy as well as individual market and team needs to document requirements, collaborate across teams to generate meaningful data and metrics, and inform initiatives and solutions to achieve desired business outcomes. The Data Analyst's primary objective is to gather, analyze and document the data requirements of a region, market, or global team and translate them into technical requirements for the Executive Data Team to develop. Once data is developed, the analyst should understand the current business and employee experience processes and environment to be able to run various scenarios and reports as well as help the ID&E Business Advisor to interpret results. The analyst should be able to assess and validate if a solution has fulfilled the requirements as well as the stated business benefits of the initiative, using analytics tools and metrics as needed.
What you'll do:
- Identify and gather data requirements that support driving results against the annual ID&E strategy
- Assemble data and create basic reports to assist ID&E Business Advisor to identify patterns, trends and key insights to the business
- Partner with ID&E COE and Executive Data Team to develop solutions against targets and goals

- History of success working with complex data sets, identifying requirements for business insights, and interpreting findings to take measurable action
- Strong foundation in problem solving and data analytics
- Proven track record of critical thinking; synthesizing data to address complex problems via achievable strategies/solutions
- Ability to articulate and support the ID&E strategy
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, nimble, professional environment
- Attention to Detail: detail-oriented, logical, and analytical, and enjoy helping organizations leverage data to improve operations and solve important business problems
- Requirements Gathering: effectively listens in senior stakeholder interviews and/or workshops to identify, analyze, and document data and reporting requirements
- Business Insights Awareness: exposure to common BI solutions, such as Power BI and Tableau, or providing data in a format for reporting
- Data Security: understand and adhere to Slalom's data security and privacy standards
- Basic Technical Development: general knowledge of data modeling fundamentals and written basic SQL statements and stored procedures
- Business Case Development: supported the development of business cases and solution proposals to include estimating level of effort, benefits, and possible alternatives
- Risk Management: contributed to risk analysis and issue management for a program or team
- Problem Solving: diagnose and provide basic root cause analysis for business and technical problems that arise with a solution
