This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer in Mexico.
This role sits at the heart of a large-scale enterprise security and cloud transformation initiative, focused on building a modern, secure, and scalable identity ecosystem. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between security architecture and hands-on implementation, ensuring identity and access policies are correctly translated into reliable production configurations. The environment is highly technical, fast-moving, and distributed across global teams working on complex digital platforms. You will play a key role in strengthening authentication, authorization, and identity governance across enterprise systems. This position requires strong autonomy, deep IAM expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in large-scale cloud environments. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex security challenges and driving operational excellence in identity infrastructure.
Accountabilities:
- Act as a core IAM engineering specialist responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise identity and access management solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Configure and manage identity platforms such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring secure authentication, federation, and lifecycle management processes.
- Translate security requirements and business access policies into scalable technical configurations and production-ready identity workflows.
- Support enterprise directory synchronization, conditional access policies, MFA implementation, and identity federation across systems.
- Collaborate with architects and security teams to design robust identity frameworks aligned with zero-trust principles.
- Participate in technical discussions and engineering reviews to refine identity strategies and ensure operational reliability.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management engineering within enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong expertise in Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including configuration, administration, and integration.
- Deep understanding of identity protocols, directory synchronization, authentication flows, federation, MFA, and conditional access models.
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to complex environments and independently deliver production-grade IAM configurations.
- Experience collaborating with technical stakeholders to translate business and security requirements into IAM designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ability to work effectively in distributed, global teams.
- Nice to have: experience with PowerShell or Python for automation and identity API integration.
- Nice to have: certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator/Consultant or Microsoft SC-300.
