Identity and Access Management Engineer

Optiver’s Identity and Access Management Team (IAM) functions to enable and secure our employees by minimizing friction, increasing automation, and improving the user experience. While working closely with our Enterprise, Trading and Business Teams, you will help establish, automate, and build end-to-end IAM solutions. To enable our ambitious trading goals, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our technology remains reliable, low latency, and optimised to suit our business needs.

What you’ll do:

As an Identity and Access Management Engineer at Optiver, you will build core internal IAM and user authentication processes and work closely with stakeholders across Business, Technical, and Enterprise Teams. To ensure our internal user processes are optimized and secure, you’ll create, define, and implement procedures and automated processes for onboarding, offboarding and transfers across the global enterprise. Our collaborative environment means you’ll partner with HR, Technology, Compliance, and Risk to upload and maintain internal policies meet regulatory compliance.

No two days are the same as you will implement new solutions, solve ad-hoc technical problems, and manage data reliant systems that are crucial for security and success of all of our global business areas.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of experience developing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
• Experience developing custom workflows, connectors, rules, and policies in the SailPoint IdentityNow platform
• Expertise in IAM best practices, principles, and technologies
• Demonstrated familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g. PowerShell and/or Python) 
• Experience with Single-Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as Okta
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deconstruct and communicate technical problems with non-technical groups and third parties
• You have hands on understanding with managing and provisioning user accounts within Active Directory and/or Azure Active Directory
