As IDS Marketing Communications Specialist, you will assist with go to market needs including managing all claim reviews and approvals, supporting Veeva, and all administrative duties associated with the e-learning system, LITMOS within the Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills and drive long-term strategies by proactively engaging with product experts, industry leaders, outside sales organizations, and cross-functional teams within BD. This position may report to our Sparks, MD or Franklin Lakes, NJ offices 3 days per week.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leads the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process for all US IDS content, including supporting the digital content manager.
- Manages all claims management for US IDS; creates a repository of approved claims and materials, maintains process to ensure all claims are reviewed and approved prior to expiration.
- Assists in the development of the customer learning system launch and content plan to support the IDS Omni-Channel strategy.
- Assists in crafting and managing the marketing communications integrated marketing plan and tactical calendar.
- Collaborates with the Sales and other internal groups to develop a library of promotional and communication templates for teams to deploy.
- Works with Tradeshow/Events Manager to develop and coordinate communications for industry meetings and trade show exhibits.
- Coordinates print production, print materials portal, digital asset management system and brand standards updates.
- Assists in copywriting and proofreading all creative communications.
- Remains current on new and pioneering communication technologies, channels, and e-learning platforms; develops and maintains a pool of highly skilled agencies and delivers recommendations to support the US IDS value offer.
- Ensure compliance to BD Quality and Regulatory requirements and adherence to MarCom standards and procedures.
About you: To be successful in this role, you require:
- Minimum 3 years of marketing or communications experience preferably in the healthcare or other FDA regulated industry.
- Minimum bachelor's degree.
- e-learning system experience in healthcare industry preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, exhibiting a high degree of drive and energy and the ability to consistently produce results.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and work independently productive.
- Innovative and creative problem solver who can manage details without losing sight of the end goal.
- Ability to travel 10%
