IFC's SME Finance Forum team isseeking an intern as part of our Global Internship Program (GIP). TheGlobal Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunityto be exposed to the mission and work of IFC and the broader World Bank Groupand become part of the largest private sector development institution in theworld. The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives andinnovative ideas to IFC's work, while improving skills in a diverse and highlystimulating environment. Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides aunique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with internationalprofessionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity inthe developing world.

The Internship period will be between June 2023- September 2023.

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Update respective SME Finance Forum databases by collecting data from relevant sources. • Support the team in analyzing the collated data and writing reports. • Design and visualize the database. • Assist the organization of the Global SME Finance Forum events and delivery of member services as and when requested.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Masters' degree level program with expected graduation dateafter December 1st, 2023in order to be eligible. • Field of study: Economics; Data Analytics • At least 3 years of previous work experience in market research, data mining, data visualizations • Strong computer (Tableau) and financial/economic modelling skills required
