IFC is seeking a summer intern in the IFC Human Resources Department (CHR) as part of our Global Internship Program (GIP). The Global Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the IFC and the broader World Bank Group and become part of the largest private sector development institution in the world. The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC's work while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Moreover, the Global Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and network with international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty and boosting prosperity in the developing world.

The Internship period will be between May 2023- August 2023.

Duties and Accountabilities:

The Recruitment and Outreach Consultant will be assigned to various projects and therefore be responsible for developing various projects central to the corporates' people strategy initiatives. Duties and Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Screening prospective job applicants to evaluate their skills and qualifications • Entering job applicants' CVs and contact details into the company database for future reference • Ensuring that potential job candidates are an excellent match for the role posted • Producing and posting job adverts that attract appropriate candidates • Cold calling universities to initiate recruitment efforts • Meeting with prospective hires to develop and expand the talent pipeline for various functions • Headhunting specific candidates for high-end job roles, such as Investment Officer positions • Other duties as assigned

Selection Criteria

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Masters' degree level program with expected graduation dateafter December 1st, 2023in order to be eligible • Field of study: MBA; Master's in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field • At least 3 years of previous work in a Human Resources or related field • Proven operational experience in Human Resources • Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) • Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills
