IFC is seeking a summer intern inthe Information Technology Department (CIT) as part of our Global InternshipProgram (GIP). The Global Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivatedindividuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the IFC andthe broader World Bank Group and become part of the largest private sectordevelopment institution in the world. The program encourages individuals tobring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC's work while improvingskills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Moreover, the GlobalInternship Program provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and networkwith international professionals dedicated to ending extreme poverty andboosting prosperity in the developing world.

The Internship period will be between June 2023- July 2023.

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Engage with IT and business SMEs to integrate data and discover and implement actionable insights • Analyze data using SQL, R/Python • Work with reporting tools like Business Objects, Tableau, or Power BI for data visualization • Understand financial data sets and help explore new tools and techniques to provide predictive insights.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Masters' degree level program with expected graduation dateafter December 1st, 2023in order to be eligible • Field of study: Master's in Finance; Computer Science/Data Science • At least 3 years of previous work experience
