We have an IIoT Engineer/Architect position available - 100% remote. As the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) Engineer/Architect, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of IIoT Services and Software across platforms and industries. This personshould be flexible/willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.

Required Skills and Experience:

You will primarily be accountable for the improvement and delivery of the applications geared towards the industrial communications and data collection. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and deploying the software products on client's site. Some of your other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Development of AWS IoT Core that interfaces with edge gateways and sensors, cloud ingestion, analytics, data warehousing, API configuration and visualization.

Install and deploy products and related monitoring applications in the field and cloud.

  • Provide support and configuration through maintenance, enhancements, and adherence to the latest AWS toolsets and well architected practices.
  • Create and assist with strategies to plan, price, create, execute, cost, invoice, deliver, license, and support the products
  • Work closely with clients to inform of technical solutions based on needs of data collection and identify all required components to obtain the required data.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of IoT/IIoT experience
  • Remote Work Centric
  • Flexible in working with multiple time zones
  • Experienced Architect with familiarity in multiple architecture domains and reference architectures and processes like SABSA, TOGAF, NAMUR, IEC 62443 and Purdue
  • Ability to engage in cloud or remote offering for commercial product development
  • Experience in facilitating the delivery of software or cloud-related services to customers
  • Conceptual understanding of support and management of secure connectivity models via customer networks, dedicated wireless networks, VPN, Remote Desktop services, Device-as-a-Service
  • Familiarity with new IoT software technologies
  • Ability to read, develop and maintain detailed IT/OT reference architectures
  • IoT/IIoT and related data architecture implementation experience
  • Experience with IT Operational monitoring and event management
  • Experience with Patch Management, Security Solutions and program elements
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • 20% travel

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and identify complex customer IT/OT/IIoT environments to design and specify individual and master applications for data collection, device integration, and real-time analytics of IIoT solutions
