Your Role and Responsibilities

*This position is for IBM Japan Digital Services Ltd. (IJDS).

You will be responsible for the construction of cloud-based systems for customers in a variety of industries with a particular focus on areas related to cloud infrastructure. The project you will be involved in may come from a variety of industries but will be decided based on your experience and future career development

Your primary responsibilities include:

• You will be responsible for all or part of the lifecycle from requirements definition design development testing maintenance and operation.
• You will also be involved in the design/development methodology of applications on the cloud from an infrastructure perspective.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in design construction operation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure such as AWS/Azure/GCP/IBM Cloud OpenShift Unix-based servers and Oracle.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in upstream processes such as non-functional requirements definition infrastructure overview design etc.
• Experience in tuning and capacity planning for Unix-based OS and RDBMS
• Experience in system design construction and operation of IaaS cloud infrastructure
