Image Coordinator

Job Description

The Image Coordinator is responsible for organizing all photo assets for Dotdash Meredith’s product testing program. This role works across the photo editing and post production teams, collecting, analyzing, and ensuring all digital assets meet requirements according to our guidelines. The Coordinator will work closely with the Director and Senior Retouching Manager to help plan & coordinate our workload on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis, supporting deadline management and tracking and collecting data on the team’s output and resource allocation. This is a team first role, where you may be asked to work on other post team tasks to keep the flow of work going, including but not limited to selecting final images for retouching, reviewing retouched images, adding metadata, and helping to solve problems with files. This role is fast paced and high volume, requiring the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to strict deadlines.

About Your Contributions:

• Coordinate project due dates, assisting the Director in projecting & planning schedules to ensure work is meeting turnaround objectives.

• Review all incoming images from real world testers & facilitate delivery to our retouching team.

• Ensure images are named correctly and meet technical requirements.

• Keep track of team deliverable data and helping to perform data driven audits.

About You:

• Degree in Photography, Graphic Design preferred.

• 2-3 years working in media, digital preferred, with experience in photography, photo editing, project management and post production.

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with digital asset management tools and digital content workflow tools, such as AirTable.

• Excellent communication skills, you must be able to work with teams remotely and be able to communicate effectively over Slack and Zoom.

• Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
