Immigration and Mobility Specialist- Hybrid

This position is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days each week in the Norwalk, CT headquarters.

Job Description:

The Global Mobility & Immigration Specialist will be responsible for supporting FactSet's US immigration program and helping to ensure lawful work authorization for our foreign national employees. Will support the administration of FactSet's immigration policy and program, including partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely filings.

Duties include:

• Act as the first point of contact for immigration queries from employees; liaising with internal employees to coordinate work permit renewals and visa extensions.
• Track visa expiry dates and/or employee data changes and the management of associated correspondence.
• Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to address questions and resolve issues.
• Assisting in maintaining immigration files, employee data base systems and personnel files and drafting employee verification letters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two to three years of experience in HR positions and demonstrated knowledge working with international employees.
• First-hand knowledge/experience with US immigration laws and government agencies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.

Critical Skills:

• Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure when needed
• Experience with Workday a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related discipline, or equivalent immigration or HR administration work experience.

The budgeted amount range for this position in the state of Connecticut is $62,000-$80,000.
