What you'll do

Immigration and Visas

  • Provide broad immigration consultation and assistance to employees seeking various visa categories, ensuring adherence to legal regulations and requirements
  • Prepare and review visa applications, petitions, and supporting documentation with attention to detail
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and immigration attorney, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely advice and assistance to employees
  • Conduct thorough assessments of employee eligibility and provide strategic recommendations for visa options based on individual circumstances
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of employee interactions and case statuses, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building and maintaining strong employee relationships based on trust, integrity, and professionalism
  • Assist with the preparation of educational materials, seminars, and workshops to educate employees and stakeholders on immigration-related topics

Travel

  • Collaborate closely with team members to understand travel preferences and requirements
  • Research, book, and coordinate flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and related services
  • Monitor and analyze travel expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings
  • Utilize loyalty programs, rewards, and travel hacks to optimize bookings and reduce expenses
  • Negotiate with travel providers to secure competitive rates and value-added benefits
  • Develop and implement effective travel policies and guidelines for efficient travel planning
  • Swiftly address travel-related issues, cancellations, and changes to ensure seamless journeys
  • Collaborate with Finance for accurate expense reporting and reconciliation
  • Provide timely travel support and guidance to team members during business trips
  • Evaluate and assess the performance of existing travel partnerships, proposing alternative solutions for increased cost-effectiveness

What you'll need

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Certification or training in immigration law or related field is a plus
  • Experience as an Immigration Specialist or similar role with a focus on H-1B, O, EB-1, PERM, TN, L, and E-2 visas
  • Understanding of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a talent for innovative problem-solving
  • Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills
