The Immigration & Global Mobility Specialist is a key member of our Global Mobility team, a group that is part of the Global People Solutions Organization. The Global Mobility team is focused on being trusted partners with our Operations and Functions groups, impacting business results through forward-thinking and cost-effective Mobility Policies. The main purpose of this position is to enrich and advance the delivery of the Mobility aspects of global talent management in support of HR and business objectives.

The main purpose of this position is to enrich and advance the delivery of the Mobility aspects of global talent management in support of HR and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Global Visa & Immigration support, ensuring the process runs smoothly and within the expected time frame.
- Conduct high-level immigration assessment at the initial stage of the process.
- Responsible for initiating appropriate visa agents / immigration attorneys depending on the host country.
- Complete all relevant V&I documents including but not limited to initiations, employer questionnaires, visa applications, business support letters, etc.
- Assist employees to complete their part of the process (ex: employee questionnaires, visa applications, etc.).
- Perform responsibilities of a single signatory for US petitions and global cases, where permitted as recommended by immigration attorneys.
- Responsible for full US visa sponsorship process and US Permanent Residency processes in partnership with outside counsel, confirming eligibility and providing guidance to HRBPs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the HR community through continuous support and education, ensuring consistent application of our immigration/mobility policies.
- Counsel HR team on current and evolving immigration compliance requirements, develop communications strategies to educate foreign nationals, managers, and HR to ensure compliance in a dynamic immigration climate and mitigate company risk.
- Review vendor invoices, approve and submit for payment.
- Deliver subject matter expertise on all mobility policies for employees/locations in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
- Administer and manage all Global Mobility policies and in-house processes related to transfer and relocation (within US and globally).
- Monitor Global Mobility shared mailbox and address incoming inquiries and requests.
- Maintain an excellent broad knowledge of Global Mobility topics/policies and the related third-party processes associated with the relocation administrator, household goods movers, destination service providers, payroll and Tax/Immigration advisors.
- Develop proposals for recommended policy changes to ensure cost effectiveness and best practice consistency.
- Prepare cost projections/relocation agreements (as required) for review and approval.
- Manage policy exceptions, providing recommendation based on precedent cases, completing exception forms, obtaining required approvals, verifying exceptions on the Exception Report.
- Administer international payroll for expatriates and local payroll in Singapore by collecting, verifying, approving, and recording employee payroll information.
- Maintain database of personnel information and accurate payroll records.
- Handle employee requests and inquiries about payroll payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor year-end process to ensure all steps are completed within the set timetable.
- Complete Global Mobility metrics that reflect performance of different processes and deliverables (transferee/assignee population, initiations, exceptions, payroll, etc.)
- Accountable for the completion of various Global Mobility/Relocation Audit and Self-Assessment Tools (ASAT) for testing of procedural controls.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience required.
- 3 - 5 years of professional experience, in immigration matters (US specific, including H-1B, F-1, TN, L-1, and E-3, permanent residency). Global immigration, globally mobility and payroll experience are a plus.
- Self-starter, comfortable working independently as well as a team player.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes, and complete last-minute requests as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong customer service and ability to effectively communicate with external partners and all levels of employees across functions and geographies.
- Conflict resolution skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others.
- Ability to work in a confidential environment with exceptional attention to detail

- Experience working closely with stakeholders to guide and provide input on immigration matters.
