Immigration Specialist - 015338
Job Description
Under assigned management, the Immigration Specialist oversees the immigration program and assists foreign national employees with the necessary processes and procedures for working in the US. This position ensures that all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas, are completed accurately and in a timely manner in collaboration with legal counsel. The Immigration Specialist is the subject matter expert who acts as a strategic partner to leaders throughout the company by regularly communicating to provide guidance, status updates, and to answer questions to ensure compliance and continued work authorization.
Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Coordinates with talent management, legal counsel, and other internal stakeholders on the full immigration case lifecycle, including initial review and analysis of visa petitions with outside counsel.
- Acts as a point-of-contact for outside counsel, coworkers, and internal stakeholders for immigration matters.
- Regularly communicates with internal stakeholders to provide overview of upcoming visa processes, obtain outstanding documentation, facilitate the completion of immigration case submissions, and answer questions.
- Ensures compliance with all immigration matters and maintains required Public Access documentation.
- Posts required Labor Condition Application (LCA), Program Electronic Review Management (PERM), and other required notices.
- Works with Assigned Manager to provide immigration strategies and guidance to internal stakeholders and effectively communicate options and appropriate recommendations.

- Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
- Performs other functions as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or International Studies preferred with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant Human Resources work experience.
• In lieu of degree nine plus years of education and experience will be considered.
• Understanding of employment-based US immigrant visas.
• Experience with the US permanent residence (PERM) process.
• Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel to other work locations and to occasional local off-site meetings.
