Immunizing Pharmacist

Job Title: Immunizing Pharmacist Hours: (Part-Time/Full-Time) Location : Redwood City and Palo Alto Job Overview As anImmunizing Pharmacist, you play a vital role at the forefront of patient care. You will be responsible for administering immunizations such as influenza, shingles, and COVID-19 vaccines while promoting patient care programs designed to improve health outcomes. This position requires compassion, adaptability, and a strong commitment to serving your community. Key Responsibilities • Administer immunizations (e.g., flu, shingles, COVID-19, etc.) in compliance with company protocols and state regulations. • Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service with empathy and professionalism. • Engage patients in conversations to encourage healthy lifestyle choices and adherence to care plans. • Collaborate with healthcare team members to drive performance and achieve targeted health outcomes. • Adapt to change in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. • Actively contribute to a team culture that fosters energy, pride, and enthusiasm. • Use clinical knowledge to help differentiate our pharmacy services from competitors. Minimum Required Qualifications • Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment. • Current Immunization Certification (e.g., APhA or other accredited program). • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel if needed. • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List. • No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances. Preferred Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Passion for patient education and preventive care. • Ability to lead and inspire a team through purpose and shared goals. • Comfortable with digital tools and pharmacy technology systems.
