The IMPAC QA Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that all menu entries, report reviews, and processing meet the established quality standards of our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating input and processing of regional and custom menus, maintaining relationships with Sysco Operating Company contacts, and performing quality assurance of IMPAC menus and reports. What You'll be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with assigned Sysco Operating Company contacts
  • Coordinate input and processing of assigned regional and custom menus
  • Maintain IMPACWeb and NetRecipe accounts of assigned Opco's and facilities
  • Perform quality assurance of IMPAC menus and reports assuring they meet all established standards
  • Provide feedback to team members with results of quality assurance process with updates required before delivery to client
  • Keep current on all established standards including operating company specific menu planning needs and report specifications
  • Complete all phases of report generation with assigned operating companies
  • Participate in bi-annual QA review of Sysco IMPAC menus
  • Load and ship menus for assigned customers

What You'll Bring to the Table

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree preferred, with relevant work experience also desired
  • Work independently and demonstrate proficiency with computers and Microsoft software, including Word and Outlook
  • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and excellent attention to detail
  • Show a proven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment, and adapt to change and learn quickly
  • Work well under deadline pressure, be highly dependable, and have excellent communication skills including active listening and questioning
  • General food service or nutrition knowledge preferred, but not required

The target salary for this role is $16.50 - $17.00 per hour dependent on years of experience.

Who You'll Work With

As an IMPAC QA Specialist, you will work with a variety of stakeholders. You will maintain relationships with assigned Sysco Operating Company contacts, coordinate input and processing of assigned regional and custom menus, and work with your IMPAC team to ensure all menu entry, report review, and processing meet established quality standards. You will also provide feedback to team members with results of the quality assurance process with updates required before delivery to the client and participate in the bi-annual QA review of Sysco IMPAC menus. In addition, you will load and ship menus for assigned customers. This role requires you to work well in a fast-paced team environment and to communicate effectively with others.
